Arete offers a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, emphasizing the skills necessary for success in challenging undergraduate programs in the U.S. and abroad. In addition to the five traditional high school subjects (English, social science/history, mathematics, laboratory science, and foreign language), our four-year Great Ideas and Symposium requirements produce graduates familiar with basic tenets of philosophy, anthropology, sociology, psychology, and political science.
